KUB Telekomunikasi Sdn Bhd

KUB Telekomunikasi Sdn Bhd is an established market player in the Malaysian ICT industry, with expertise spanning infrastructure solutions, maintenance support and services, ancillary services and supply of ICT equipment to leading public and private sector companies. KUB Telekomunikasi is also a Network Facility Provider (‘NFP’) license holder from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (‘MCMC’).

Further expanding their capabilities, KUB Telekomunikasi entered into a joint venture agreement with South Korean digital technology giant HFR, Inc. (‘HFR’) in August 2020, whereby they provide engineering and infrastructural services. This has opened the door to projects involving the installation of cutting-edge communications technology such as 5G, while making KUB Telekomunikasi a network solutions provider with expertise in broadband, mobile and private radio access.

KUB Telekomunikasi’s varied project experience includes:

Installing an automatic fare collection system for fifty three Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (‘KTMB’) Commuter stations for the Ministry of Transport (‘MOT’).
Construction of telecommunications towers for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (‘MCMC’).
Supply of telecommunications infrastructure, including delivery of fibre optic accessories and metal based items, to support Telekom Malaysia Berhad’s (‘TM’) High-Speed Broadband (‘HSBB’) service.
Contract with TM-Nokia Network Simplification Initiative (‘NSI’) and a five (5)-year contract with the TM-NOKIA Metro-E BAY maintenance service.
Management of second level operation, maintenance, servicing and repair of digital TV transmission infrastructure for MYTV Broadcasting Sdn Bhd (‘MYTV’).

Connecta Sdn Bhd

In view of the collaboration with HFR Inc., Connecta Sdn Bhd (‘connectA’) was established on 20^th January 2020, a fully owned subsidary of KUB Telekomunikasi Sdn. Bhd. to drive the development of end-to-end private 5G networks specialising in 5G digital transformation platforms (i.e. private packet core, business platform, service platform, mobile edge computing and private 5G radio access networks).
