Central Cables Berhad​

Central Cables Berhad (‘CCB’), founded in Malaysia on June 6, 1967, began as a low-voltage power cable manufacturer. As one of Malaysia’s earliest power cable manufacturers, CCB has nurtured a strong workplace culture and environment, allowing it to thrive for over 50 years. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017 (Golden Jubilee) and preparing for its 60th anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) in 2027, the company has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence.

Throughout its history, CCB has navigated various phases while upholding corporate policies and business strategies that emphasize collaboration, trust, and respect. With a factory spanning 6.823 acres, CCB produces and supplies a range of low to medium-voltage power cables, valued at an estimated RM400 million, to meet market demand.

KUB Power Sdn Bhd​

KUB Power Sdn Bhd provides general building works and civil engineering services within the power industry, including substation and transmission line construction, supply and installation of electrical infrastructure, and electrical maintenance contracts.

Its portfolio includes:

  • 500kV switchyard erection, testing and commissioning for TNB Janamanjung, Power Station, Perak.
  • Construction of 132/11kV intake station, and supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of 132 kV/11kV transformer, 132kV GIS & 11 kV switchgear, firefighting electrical low voltage services for proposed 132kV/11kV main intake for MESSR Freescale Semiconductor (M) Sdn Bhd.
  • Supply and erection of two (2) 132/33/11kV substations including switchgears, ancillaries and civil works at Ulu Melaka, Langkawi and Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Prai for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (‘TNB’).
  • Construction of 132/33kV transmission main intake (‘PMU’) in Tanjung Tokong, Pulang Pinang for TNB.
  • Construction of SSP Interconnection Facility (TNB Sepang Solar Substation) for 50MWAC large scale solar photovoltaic plant at Mukim Tanjung Duabelas, Kuala Langat, Selangor.
  • Proposed development of 30 MWac large scale solar photovoltaic plant In Mukim Bebar, Daerah Pekan, Pahang
